Experiments

Vault Mind

A parked local-model experiment for talking to a personal knowledge base.

Vault Mind explored a CLI-first way to query a personal knowledge base with a local model, then stayed parked after the useful lessons were learned.

Personal notes become hard to use when recall depends on remembering filenames, folders, or the exact wording of an old thought.

What I built

A private experiment around conversational access to a personal knowledge base.

The point was to test the shape of local recall, not to ship a polished public memory product.

How it works

Index local notes, ask questions through a CLI, and inspect whether the local-model answers are useful enough to change the workflow.

What it proves

The output was product learning about local knowledge-base interfaces and the limits of an early CLI-first memory loop.
